Laconia 2012

The Laconia Motorcycle Rally is coming and Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys and BAM will be there! This year is the 89^th Anniversary of Laconia Motorcycle Week and as usual it will be an amazing mix of motorcycle racing, events, and entertainment. The festive motorcycle event officially kicks off on Saturday, June 9^th and runs through June 17^th in Laconia, New Hampshire. It is estimated that between 250,000 and 350,000 visitors attend the Laconia Motorcycle Week every year!

History of the Laconia Motorcycle Week

In 1916, motorcyclists gathered in Laconia for a bit of racing and fun. Seven years later, the event was recognized by the Federation of American Motorcyclists and motorcyclists began to come to Laconia in larger numbers each and every year. Slowly over the years, the event has been expanded to become a week-long event. This year promises to be an amazing year for the Laconia Motorcycle Week. There will be Biker build-offs, Rally in the Valley events, Charity Bike builds shows and raffles, Memorial rides, music in the marketplace and more. For the competitive motorcyclist, there will be a pool tournament, tattoo contest, wet t-shirt contest, and hot legs contest at this year’s event. In addition, this year, NFL star Doug Flutie will be at the Laconia Roadhouse for an Autism Speak Fundraiser.

With all of the amazing entertainment and festivities, it is no surprise that the Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys and BAM want to be there!
