Paul Yaffe’s Arizona Centenniel Copper Chopper To Be Unveiled

Arizona Centennial Copper Chopper, Designed and Built by Paul Yaffe, Unveiled Tomorrow

Saturday, October 23, will be a special day at the Arizona State Fair. While popcorn, snacks, fun rides, and strange beasts, are all of the great things we associate with State Fair fun, this year’s fair is even more exciting because it is part of the beginning celebrations of Arizona’s rapidly approaching 100th anniversary (in 2012.) At this fair, on Saturday, the Arizona Centenniel Copper Chopper will be unveiled. It will then remain on display at Wesley Bolin Building through November 7th. After the 7th, you can find the Copper Chopper at various destinations throughout the Grand Canyon state as it embarks on a 17-month tour.
World-renowned Paul Yaffe designed and built the Copper Chopper, which boasts features such as a 100-horsepower engine with 100 foot-pounds of torque, a top speed of 125 miles per hour, and can go from 0 to 60 in approximately 4.2 seconds. This one-of-a-kind work of art can be yours for possibly as little as $5. That is right; tickets are on sale for $5 through the Fair or at most upcoming Copper Chopper appearances.
