According to the New York Post, a neighbor of Aniston’s first noticed the prank while walking their dog past Aniston’s apartment on West 12th Street in Manhattan’s West Village. The neighbor “spotted up to 25 slices of ‘what clearly was bologna’ stuck to the seat, the wheels, handlebars, muffler and engine at about 8 a.m.” Thursday, the Post reported. Apparently the bologna was removed shortly afterward.

“I got the impression it was some weird message, like, ‘You’re full of bologna,’ ” the neighbor speculated to the Post. “The bike was in otherwise in fine condition.”

Aniston and Theroux have been spotted all over New York City in recent days, amid rumors that the two have already decided to get married (on the beach) and are talking about starting a family.

The handsome couple’s whirlwind romance is believed to have begun while Theroux was still involved with his longtime live-in girlfriend, Heidi Bivens.

At least one person isn’t sure the bologna story is real, due to the lack of forensic evidence.

“There are paparazzi outside their apartment 24/7″ a rep for Aniston told the Post. “Don’t you think they would have photographed the person doing it, if indeed this actually happened, which I do not know for sure.”

The malicious meat-ing took place last night as the motorcycle was parked outside BF Jennifer Aniston’s West Village apartment. It was discovered by a neighbor early this morning, who told the New York Post that the bike was covered from seat to handlebars with at least twenty-five slices of “what clearly was bologna.” The bike was reportedly fine otherwise, and had been cleaned and ready to roll by 8 AM. But still, the culprit and motive are both still a mystery. “I got the impression it was some weird message, like, ‘You’re full of bologna,’ ” the neighbor admitted to the Post. No arrests have been made, but police have called Oscar Mayer in for questioning.

The Christmas season is upon us once again, which means as the snow starts covering the roads there will be less riding and party runs until spring takes over and gives old man winter a boot in his ass. But even though we won’t be riding as much as we would like to doesn’t mean that we stop being bikers and living our lifestyle: enter The Road Hoggs from Greenville Ohio with their annual Toys for Tikes toy drive.

I don’t have much information about this bike club, and the only reason i have posted their link and picture is because while i was surfing Google for news and interesting stories for the RussBrown.com blog, i saw quite a few mentions about this bike club on FaceBook, and other websites.

Over the world Christmas means different things to different people, but to bikers the spirit of giving extends far outside the family unit and includes those are truly in need, and even though the generosity of giving gets more attention during the holiday season, those living the biker lifestyle consider it a integral part of their everyday life.

I don’t know about you, but have you ever noticed that when you see a car stranded along the road that rarely will another automobile stop and offer assistance or just stop to see if everything is alright? On the other hand if a biker were to come along they will undoubtedly stop, and this more true if it is a fellow motorcyclist.

We bikers live our lives by a simple but often misunderstood code; we give what we get, but more so we also we care about those in need and do what we can to help meet those needs. I have over heard many non-bikers say if there were more people who were like us the world would be a better place. And i am not saying that bikers own the market when it comes to stepping up to help others, but i like to make a point of reminding people that just because we don’t look or act like most people doesn’t mean we are like those 1970′s B-movies that depict out law biker gangs that are on a non stop pillaging rampage.

The spirit of caring and giving isn’t a once a year event that bikers and their families do to cause it seems like the right thing to do…. it is a ongoing part of their lives because it is it is the right thing to do and while many people have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas, its meaning hasn’t been lost, forgotten or misplaced by bikers all around the world!

Oh by the way, if you have a link or more information on this righteous Bike club drop me a line!

With a final ride into Los Angeles from Santa Barbara California to celebrate the conclusion of the 42,000 mile awareness ride, The Road 2 A Cure crew, friends and supports will be letting the good times roll with full blown biker style party at Senor Fred. Tori Spelling’s husband, Dean McDermott will be making the ride on his new custom Harley along with Chris, his wife Jennifer, supporters and anyone who wants to roll with them.

Road 2 A Cure co-founders Jennifer and Chris Calaprice became involved in the fight against pancreatic cancer in October of 2003 when Chris was diagnosed. Road 2 A Cure, a nonprofit organization, was their answer to making their own fight have a global impact in the war against cancer. Road 2 A Cure is out doing what others wont – speaking their minds and actively engaging those affected.

Why is all of this so important? Because pancreatic cancer is the 4th leading cause of cancer deaths, yet receives less than 2 percent of the National Cancer Institute’s annual budget. “You know that old saying ‘knowledge is power?’ Well, knowing you have pancreatic cancer early and finding a specialist gives you the power to act quickly so you don’t die, quite frankly. But the current level of funding and federal support does not allow most this advantage.”

Why 42,000 miles? “I am riding one mile for each person in the U.S. who will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year alone,” says Chris.

The details:
WHO: Open to the public, motorcycle enthusiasts, survivors, friends and families
WHAT: Celebrate the end of a successful pancreatic cancer awareness tour
WHERE: Senor Fred’s Restaurant, 13730 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA
WHEN: Saturday, November 20, 2010 1:00pm – 5:00pm
OTHER: $10 donation for food, drink, live music and a chance to win a $500 VISA card
To ride/drive the final miles with Chris – 11:00am at Santa Barbara Kawasaki/Victory, 5836 Hollister Ave, Goleta OR 12:30pm USA gasoline station, 5000 Kanan Rd, Agoura Hills.

For more information or to donate to help Chris get home, visit www.road2acure.org or call 661-702-9202.

The freedom of the open road is one of the biggest reasons more and more people have made motorcycle camping trips their vacation get away option.

You will be limited in space so pack lightly. This will take some expertise of course, you only want to pack the basic essentials.

Small personal items (travel size), small tools and of course a multi-tool knife is a must.

Will you want to cook or live of fast food? Ans the right questions will help you pack.

Here are some great websites for camping with a motorcycle tips…

http://www.motorcyclecampingtips.com/

http://www.lazymotorbike.eu/tips/camping/

http://wetleather.com/reference/camping.html

One of my favourite spots to camp is the Legendary Buffalo Chip in Sturgis – though I prefer the RV option for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally – I can cook and shower. My kind of camping!!!

With some simple planning before you hit the highway, your motorcycle camping adventure is sure to be one of the best road trips you have ever been on, and don’t forget to bring your camera along so you can post your camping pictures on Twitter or FaceBook!

Don’t let your freedom of riding a motorcycle become a nightmare! if you or a loved one has been injured in a motorcycle accident, then you need a tough and aggressive motorcycle accident lawyer who knows the personal injury laws in your state and will fight to protect your rights. Call 1-800-4-BIKERS to speak with a motorcycle accident lawyer who knows the law and also rides!
It was designed and built by the German inventors Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach in Bad Cannstatt.

In 1903 the first Harley Davidson was introduced in the U.S. and with the American industrial boom in full swing the Harley would rapidly earn its crown as “The king of motorcycles”. With new models of their unique motorcycle design being introduced, the Harley Davidson factory in Milwaukee Wisconsin prospered. In 1916 Harley’s had already been used by the military in the Pancho Villa Expedition, and with the United States entering into World War I in 1917, the military demanded motorcycles for the war effort. Adapting them for military combat service, Harley Davidson supplied over 15,000 motorcycles to the military forces.

In 1920 Harley Davidson was the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world with slightly over 28,000 motorcycles being produced. As Harley Davidson continued to prosper, new innovations were regularly being unveiled that proudly etched the Harley Davidson name into the history books as the greatest motorcycle manufacturers in the world. in 1921, a Harley-Davidson, ridden by Otto Walker, was the first motorcycle ever to win a race at an average speed of over 100 mph.

The great depression of 1929 shook the United States, and while sales dropped Harley Davidson held on and managed to make it through those hard times and although scratched and dented financially, the quality of the Harley Davidson never was compromised.

Harley Davidson, was one of only two motorcycle manufacturers to survive the depression. They resumed making motorcycles for the US Army in World War II and civilian production followed with Harley producing a range of large V-twin motorcycles that were successful on racetracks and for private buyers.

By the beginning of WWII, Harley Davidson was already supplying the Army with a military-specific version of its 45 cubic inches (740 cc) WL line, called the WLA.When the war broke out, Harley Davidson shifted its production to war vehicles. 90,000 + military motorcycles, were produced and supplied Americas’ allies. For this service, Harley Davidson received two Army-Navy ‘E’ Awards, one in 1943 and the other in 1945, which were awarded for Excellence in Production.

Hollywood played a big part in both building the reputation of Harley Davidson and tearing it down; With the war effort in full swing newsreels and movies could be seen with American military men serving their county atop various models of Harley Davidson motorcycles, but with the many outlaw biker gang films produced from the 1950′s through the 1970′s, following the Hollister riot on July 4, 1947. “Harley Davidson” for the long time was synonymous with the Hells Angels and other outlaw motorcyclists.

Throughout all of the ups and downs, two things remained; the first was that Harley Davidson still held its prestigious crown as king of motorcycle design, and that so called tarnished reputation cast by a biased general public only made the allure of owning and riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle more attractive to those who never considered themselves part of the general public anyway!

The world could say what it wanted about the Harley motorcycle, but the men who made them an integral part of their lifestyle and culture could careless. It seems that long before the invention of the motorcycle there was a type of man that was uniquely different from other men, and this can be seen in the wild west days with the wandering cowboy, and of course the “outlaw”, who’s history was somehow translated into modern time by coining the word “Ironhorse”.

No matter what those “other” people think about us, our lifestyle, or our motorcycle, one thing is certain…the Harley Davidson is here to stay and so are the men who love them, and all you have to do is walk outside on a sunny day and anywhere people are having fun you are sure to hear that distinctively sexy rumble and roar of some biker cruising through town!

Call 1-800-4-BIKERS to speak with a lawyer who rides a motorcycle and knows the law!

Okay so we all know motorcycles can be dangerous. Maybe that is part of the allure – regardless, recent stats show on average over 2000 people are killed in motorcycle crashes each year in the United States. An an obvious fact but one I will point out anyway – is that motorcyclists are more likely to die in a crash than those in automobile crashes. We are not protected by four metal or plastic walls.

The Russbrown.com staff continually post valuable information and news to help you and your loved ones stay safe while on the roads and protect yourselves from the physical, emotional, and financial struggles that motorcycle accidents can cause. With this information, you will be able to make better choices when insuring, equipping, and riding your motorcycle.

Taking a riding course is one of the best things you can do for your motorcycle riding life. And don’t just take one. There is nothing wrong with taking courses every couple of years to bone up on your riding skills.
5 Tips For Riding Safely
1. Stay out of the Blind Spots on Cars and Trucks
 – you are smaller then they are – be seen.
2. Make your brake lights visible when you are slowing and stopping
3. Wear Protective clothing – can’t say that enough.
4. Be cautious and calm – give yourself time to react to other drivers.
5. Make sure other drivers can see you.
Source: Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF)

Always Remember: Give yourself space. People driving cars often just don’t see motorcycles. Even when drivers do see you, chances are they’ve never been on a motorcycle and can’t properly judge your speed.

If you or a loved one have been injured in a motorcycle accident, you need an experienced motorcycle accident lawyer who will fight to protect your rights, get your motorcycle repaired, and get you financial compensation you deserve to take care of your medical bills, and your pain and suffering.
If you’re been injured in a motorcycle accident I bet there is a lot going through your mind; is this going to affect my motorcycle insurance even if I wasn’t at fault? Does the guy that hit me even have insurance? Who is going to cover my medical bills and fix my bike until I get some money from my insurance company? The good news is that we have set up a 24 hour live chat service on our home page www.russbrown.com to help motorcycle accident victims get answers to questions about their accident.

The chat service is 100% free and you don’t have to give any personal information to ask your question, all is required is a first name, and a question relating to a motorcycle injury or accident…Keep in mind that this free service shouldn’t be considered the same as a consultation with a motorcycle accident lawyer, but rather quick information about the law, and your rights as they pertain to a motorcycle injury or accident.

If you are not sure if you actually even need a motorcycle accident lawyer, then you should keep in mind that even if you do not feel injured now, because of the shock of the accident and adrenalin release by your body during the accident you could have suffered whiplash or other injuries that may not show up for hours or days. The best thing for your health and safety is to go to the emergency room and have a check up. Make sure you relate to the doctor the details of your accident so he or she can give you a thorough examination. After your examination you should at least have a consultation over the phone with a motorcycle accident lawyer to find out if you should have an attorney represent your insurance claim.

However, if the injury is moderate to severe then an attorney is usually necessary because the average person doesn’t know how to properly evaluate their claim and needs help to achieve the best result. On the other hand the insurance company knows everything. A motorcycle accident attorney can level the playing field.

Things to keep in mind if you are ever in an accident are:

Remain calm. Take deep breaths.

Get the facts: Time, date, location of accident, names and driver’s license of others involved, witnesses, etc….

Be careful what you say. Make statements to law officials only at the scene.

Do not speak to the representative of the other person’s insurance company if you intend to retain a lawyer.

Call1-800-4-BIKERS Immediately! 24-hour, toll-free, nation-wide assistance is standing by to help you.

See a doctor. Obtain treatment if you are injured.

Contact your insurance agency.

Knowing the answers to serious issues like a motorcycle accident can help relieving the burden of not knowing what to do or how to take action to begin your claim with your insurance company.

If you or a loved one have been involved in a motorcycle accident, you need a motorcycle accident lawyer who knows the laws regarding personal injury accidents. Call 1-800-4-BIKERS to speak with lawyer who can explain your rights and help you get compensation for your injuries and get your motorcycle fixed!

These CT Righteous Women, ride their motorcycles for all the charities they can, especially the cancer charities. The week before we met up, Debi had done a Cancer Ride where the turnout was phenomenal, and she was already gearing her motorcycle up for the Susan Komen Ride For The Cure, which most of you know, is near and dear to my heart for personal reasons. ;0)

Debi is a proud Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Rider, and AMERICAN. She told me that she is married to the most wonderful man in the world, and that it took her many, many years to find her “Angel” as she calls him- and that he was worth the wait! “Uncle Bob” as they call him, married Debi in a true biker wedding with over 450 bikes in attendance at a lighthouse- how cool is that!

Debi has a son in the Marines, named Albert Perillo IV, and two step-sons in the Army, named Cody and M.J., and could not be prouder of them all if she tried. She also has a grand-daughter named Izzy, who is a future biker- no doubt in my mind! Izzy came with her “Nana” to our meeting, and she explained to me that her Nana was just borrowing her pink motorcycle until she was old enough to ride it herself, and that if Nana was not around she (meaning Izzy) would be fine to take over the clubhouse and she had her own key and everything! Oh, the things that do come out of the mouths of babes… priceless!

I thoroughly enjoyed finally getting a chance to sit down and chat with Debi and Izzy, and I hope that we can do some riding together in the near future. I felt a kinship with Debi, which is something that does not happen to me very often, at least not immediately. And if the other girls in her social club are anything like her- then I have found some cool, bad ass chicks to go exploring with- and that would be fucking awesome!

I’ll leave you with this parting quote from Debi herself, “The day I can’t ride, is the day I want to die”. I, concur.

Till next month-

Ride Safe

Krit

PS- If you would like more info on how to join the CT Women riding group you can email Debi at Killerpink69@aol.com

I am proud to be a part of the motorcycle community because of a lot of these great people.

I am at my desk in hot Los Angeles where I work for Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys. One of my job perks is the people I meet on the road at various motorcycle events and Krit Campbell is a great person and I had the privelege of meeting her through New York Rider Magazine owner Carmella Brown.

This article is written by Krit Campbell, who is also one hell of a biker!

Part One

Anyone who has followed my writing these past few years knows that I love to do interviews. I love to meet new, cool, fellow bikers, and especially female bikers!

This month, I am happy to introduce you to a kick ass woman and motorcyclist from CT named: Debi “Killer” Henninger. You may have run into her at any one of the gazillion motorcycle events in the tri state area, over the past 3 decades, as Debi attends most of them! I was turned on to Debi by Mary Richardson, a fellow female motorcycle columnist, and I was thrilled that Debi agreed to sit down with me at a pizza joint in Beacon Falls, CT and shoot the shit for an hourmso I could compile this “piece” about her.

Debi came from humble beginnings and is a big believer in positive energy. No matter what, Debi will tell you that, “Life is Good”, and she really means it. As a product of foster care, it was riding a motorcycle that gave her comfort, and as a matter of fact, one of Debi’s favorite motorcycle, day ride destinations is a place called, “Lady of Peace” at East Rock. When I asked why this particular destination was so dear to her, she explained to me that when she would take off from her foster families care and trek out to Lady of Peace to comfort herself and that each time she visits she restores that feeling of comfort and peace within herself. I, for one, can dig that!

Debi has ridden a motorcycle for so long, as she puts it, “All of my life”, that she can’t remember not riding. As a matter of fact, back in 1978, Debi formed a motorcycle club for girls only, called, “The Killerettes”. This was the 1st all female motorcycle group around, and lasted 8 years, until the usual bullshit, politics, and aggravations that come with heading a riding club, made her rethink the organization and eventually dismantle it altogether.

Debi is an actress and has credits in film and prime time television and reality shows, such as: The Bronx is Burning, Dan in Real Life, Indiana Jones IV, The Diner, as well as 3 music videos for Chris Keys. Although she loves to act, Debi is the first to tell you that she considers riding her full time job- and Loves It!

Although Debi kept riding her motorcycle hard throughout the years, it was in August of 2007 when Debi found herself listed on the ultra popular “BIKER OR NOT” website. Donning her signature pink garb, complete with pink bandana, and posing on her pink 2000 Superglide, the response was a resounding “HELL YES-SHE IS A BIKER!” It was after this exposure that Debi decided to once again try to gather females for a riding social scene, with the most important motto being, “NO-Drama!”

Now, Debi has a motorcycle group of about 73 ladies, ranging in age from 29-76 years of age, who meet 2 or 3 times a week (schedules and weather permitting) to ride. As a matter of fact, until a month or two ago, these ladies were meeting at a local diner, but there were so many riders, that they grew too big for the diner to accommodate- and now they have their own clubhouse in North Haven! This group of female riders is accepting of all makes/models of bikes, all ages of riders, and all riding capabilities. They accept everyone who lives the life and as Debi so eloquently puts it, “we accept everyone, and give you the rope- if you chose to hang yourself, that is on you, and not us”. The old adage, honesty and respect – you give it, and then you get it, is how this group of ladies operates. They are a family. They look out for each other, and believe in safety 1st- which can be a rarity in this day and age while doing group rides- believe me!

to be continued….

Everytime I return to Los Angeles from a motorcycle rally I thank God for the special people my job working for Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, has introduced me to. Two of those people are Jennifer and Chris Calaprice.

Chris Calaprice should be dead. Yet at the ripe old age of 42 he’s survived pancreatic cancer twice, and has also survived melanoma, the deadly form of skin cancer. As a 7-year pancreatic cancer survivor,Chris is fed up with hearing that pancreatic cancer is a death sentence. He is a survivor thanks to an aggressive maintenance regimen of chemo he undergoes every 8 weeks. These treatments allow him to ride his motorcycle thousands of miles and help raise awareness.

Pancreatic cancer is the 4th leading cause of cancer deaths yet it receives less than 2 percent of the National Cancer Institute’s annual budget. This statistic was so appalling to Chris that he and his wife created the non-profit Road 2 A Cure, and decided to use Chris’s gift of time to hit the road, undertaking a grueling 9-month-long awareness tour to meet with survivors, activists, policy makers, oncologists, medical centers, researchers and local as well as federal legislators to activate change.

The remarkable part of this is that Chris is a chemo patient, and is actually receiving his chemo treatments on the road every 8 weeks . Chris’s doctor, leading oncologist and pancreatic cancer specialist Dr. William Isacoff of Los Angeles, flies out to meet Chris on the road every 8 weeks to administer his chemo treatments.

Why 42,000+ miles?

“I am riding one mile for each person in the U.S. who will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer this year alone,” Chris Calaprice

Road 2 A Cure co-founders Jennifer and Chris Calaprice became involved in the fight against pancreatic cancer in October of 2003 when Chris was diagnosed. Road 2 A Cure, a 501(c)(3) non–profit organization, was their answer to making their own fight have a global impact in the war against cancer. Road 2 A Cure is actively engaging those affected by pancreatic cancer and those responsible for finding a cure. To donate today, visit www.road2acure.org.

At this point in the tour, Road 2 A Cure is in critical need of funding. Please help us spread the word to encourage donations so that Chris can stay on the road – on the Road 2 A Cure. Donate at www.road2acure.org or call 661-702-9202.

Working for Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys has given me the opportunity to meet these two fantastic people. Jennifer and Chris keep up the good work.
