Ardmore, Oklahoma: Man Injured in a Motorcycle Accident
An Ardmore, Oklahoma man was injured in a motorcycle accident on January 12. Charles Arbuckle was driving his motorcycle on the highway when he crossed the center line and hit an SUV carrying a mother and her four children, none of which were injured. Arbuckle was not wearing a motorcycle helmet. He was taken to Seminole Medical Center where he was treated for internal, external and head injuries. He is currently in stable condition.
Motorcycle Cannonball Run 2010
For the first time in almost a century the Motorcycle Cannonball Run has been set for September 10-22, 2010. The endurance run has four different routes: Vancouver to New Hampshire; Los Angeles to Virginia Beach; Portland, WA to Portland, ME, and Seattle to St. Petersburg, FL. The catch? In order to participate, you must be on a motorcycle built prior to 1916! This ride would be tough on a new luxury motorcycle, but a motorcycle built prior to 1916? My bum hurts just thinking about it!
