While the festivities officially start on August 8, 2011 and end on August 14, 2011, motorcyclists from around the country will start rumbling in earlier that week. In fact, if you want to catch Alice Cooper LIVE in concert at the Legendary Buffalo Chip, you‘ll have to get there on the 6th and STYX will be performing LIVE the next night after Bachman and Turner! When the rally officially gets underway, participants at this year’s Sturgis Rally will get to see amazing concerts, such as Def Leppard, Poison, Toby Keith, Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood, and more! The Buffalo Chip is celebrating an incredible milestone, ’30 Years Strong’, so expect to spend a lot of your Sturgis Rally time at the ‘Chip’. It didn’t get ‘Legendary’ status for nothing!
