Motorcycles And Lane Splitting In California
The California law that allows motorcycles to lane split is not popular with four wheeled drivers. When I first arrived to Los Angeles, CA I was shocked the first time I saw a motorcycle lane split and go past me. Now I am used to it and when I see a motorcycle coming up between the lanes I move over so the biker has more room to pass. This is not always the case unfortunately. Riverside County Sheriff Deputy Hit At DUI Check Point
A motorcycle deputy for the Riverside County Sheriff’s department was involved in a motorcycle accident in Moreno Valley on January 28. The deputy was taking part in a routine DUI check point when the motorcycle accident happened. The deputy was taken to Riverside County Regional Medical Center. His injuries have not been released, but he is said to make a full recovery.

Fatal Motorcycle Accident Long Beach, CA
A man died after a motorcycle accident in Long Beach, California on February 2. The motorcyclist was making a transition from the 91 Freeway to the 710 towards Long Beach. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. It has not yet been reported how the motorcycle accident happened. Our thoughts are with the motorcyclist’s friends and family.
