For the first time in almost a century the Motorcycle Cannonball Run has been set for September 10-22, 2010.  The endurance run has four different routes: Vancouver to New Hampshire; Los Angeles to Virginia Beach; Portland, WA to Portland, ME, and Seattle to St. Petersburg, FL. The catch?  In order to participate, you must be on a motorcycle built prior to 1916!  This ride would be tough on a new luxury motorcycle, but a motorcycle built prior to 1916?  My bum hurts just thinking about it!

We have some good news, and some bad news.  The good news, Harley Davidson’s main plant in York, Pennsylvania will remain open.  After a lot of consideration, the plant will continue on to its 37th year of operation. The bad news is, unfortunately, 950 jobs will be lost at the plant.  It is sad to hear loss of loss of employment around the holidays.

Here’s a riddle!  What is round on the ends, hi in the middle?  Now that I’ve stumped you with a riddle from one of my favorite cartoon characters, Brak, the answer is Ohio!  Throughout the year we will be attending different motorcycle events across the United States.  Ohio is one of our favorite places to go.  The motorcycle riding is great and the people are friendly.  What else could a motorcycle rider ask for?  Come see us and see if you can catch us at one of the following events for 2010!
