Having Full Coverage Motorcycle Insurance Doesn’t Mean You’re Covered
I was recently helping a friend rebuild his custom Harley low rider after being hit a few months ago, and while we were just about finished swapping out the front end and wheel that had been demolished after a large truck ran over his parked bike, I commented, “hey how come your insurance didn’t cover these repairs?” My friend replied, “the guy that hit my bike didn’t have enough insurance to cover the total repair cost, and rather than fight his insurance company I took the money they offered me.”
Whatever Happened to Easyriders Miraculous Mutha
The Motorcycle Industry owes a lot to Easyriders magazine; they literally opened the door to the world of Harley Davidson and custom Harley choppers, and the biker lifestyle making a loud and raucous cultural statement giving notice to the rest of the world that bikers were here and this what we have to say! Debuting in 1971, Easyriders magazine featured top-notch chopper designs and their builders in full color layouts. In addition to the magazines full-featured layout, the magazine boasted slick one of a kind motorcycle culture color illustrations by Dave Mann, and a no holds bared help and advise column by Miraculous Mutha.
The Anatomy of a Motorcycle Accident
Sadly enough the anatomy of a motorcycle accident begins the moment you get on your bike; you always ride prepared, always looking for the car that doesn’t see you, you always were a helmet and other safety gear, but before you know it you have been hit by an automobile and you are going down. After waking up in a hospital bed in the emergency room you realize you were lucky, you only have a broken leg and some serious road rash; your whole body hurts really bad and your best friend tells you that your new custom Harley was totaled after it was ran over by another motorist after you went down.
The Diverse Design of Custom Motorcycles
What it is that drives the need to ride a one of a kind custom motorcycle? Maybe it’s the love of being part of the design you ride, or maybe the look and feel of a motorcycle no one has, could it be ego, or just a mix of all of the above and more. What ever it is that drive men to designing and building custom choppers; for every bike that is built, there are men standing in line to purchase them, so maybe that is why building custom motorcycles is so damn popular… If you build it, they will ride it!
