Los Angeles, California: Newcomb’s Ranch owner, Frederick Rundall, has announced to the Los Angeles Times that he will be closing the restaurant. Since buying the place in 2001, he has had to shut down the business several times due to mudslides, fires, and other weather conditions that closed Angles Crest Highway which is the only road to and from Newcomb’s Ranch.

I am sad to announce that the man who died in a motorcycle accident on New Year’s day has been identified as Anthony Lee Rowlett.
Motorcycle stolen in Chicago, IL
Chicago, Illinois man, Kevin Murphy, had his motorcycle stolen after helping out in an annual Toys for Tots motorcycle ride. After completing the ride, he stopped with a group of friends for lunch. When they entered the restaurant all 7 motorcycles were there. When they left, only 6 motorcycles were still in the parking lot. Sadden by the mishap, Kevin is hoping someone will have the same compassion he does, and return his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle.
