I broke down about 25 miles from my home in Charlotte, North Carolina heading to my second job in Cornelius. The front bolt shook out of my gear shift petal. My bud came to help but the screws he had on hand didn't fit. We tried to take a bolt from my brake petal & use it…but it didn't fit either. By then it was 9PM so my bike dealer was closed. Wait! I thought what about BAM? I called the toll free number & the dude who answered got my location and told me he would look for a member In the vicinity. I'll be darned if a rider named David Ozga didn't call a few minutes later. He lived ¼ mile away, came to me & checked out my predicament. To make a long story shot, we limped to his house where he actually cut & threaded a bolt to fit and got me back on the road. I was home by 10:30. Thank you David. Thank you Russ Brown.
